Immediacy

The transfer is done immediately. We ensure minimum standby time and reach the patient within 30 minutes, even at peak hours.

Mobile units

Each private ambulance by SOS DOCTORS constitutes a mobile unit.
This means that they carry all appropriate equipment, a monitor and defibrillator to monitor patients’ condition during transport and rescue them if need be.

Certified Rescuers

There are always two experienced, certified rescuers in the ambulance.
This means that the staff accompanying the patient in the ambulance hold all necessary certifications to provide first aid, CPR, defibrillation and make use of the mobile unit equipment. In addition, there is a possibility to transfer patients accompanied by a skilled physician.

Nationwide coverage

Except from Athens and Thessaloniki, SOS DOCTORS’ private ambulances provide transport in continental Greece, namely in Central Greece, Peloponnese, Epirus, Thessaly, Macedonia and on islands upon request.
