• The fee for the medical examination is determined and an invoice is always given. Invoice may be submitted to the patient’s insurance company or the Inland Revenue Department for reimbursement.
• The patient can also pay with credit card (VISA, AMERICAN EXPRESS). In these cases the appropriate form is filled and a copy of it is returned to the patient. A receipt for payment is written out and given to the patient, as well.

SOS Doctors Visit Charges 

• The doctor must write out a receipt for every incident according to the company’s pricelist.
• The subordination of each incident in certain time area (daily or nightly pricelist) is determined by the time of the patient‘s call and not by the time of the doctor’s arrival.
• The charges were established on 16/12/2009 and the SOS DOCTORS are entitled to change them with no prior warning.
 

Additional Charges:

• There is a superaddition for any further medical action that the doctor conducts. Specifically: 30€ for an electrocardiogram, 10€ for stick urine, 60€ for simple spirometry, 20€ for term’s placement, 10€ for urinary catheter’s placement.  In case the doctor conducts any surgical action (placement of stitches/ plaster/splint, cleaning of sprawls), a surcharge of 20- 200 € exists.
• If the doctor administrates expensive medicines or uses medical materials, then the price of the medicines or the materials (e.g. splint, collar) will be added to the above charges.
• If the doctor has to remain in the patient’s house longer than 45΄, there will be an increase of 10-20 € and in case he has to escort the patient to an Emergency Department with an ambulance, the increase will be 50 €.
